Lynne Kennedy

Lynne Kennedy is President of Linman Investments, a land development and property management company and is a Director and financial officer of Mandale Holdings. Lynne recently completed four terms as a Vancouver City Councilor. During her 10 years of service in local government, she took leadership roles in economic development, tourism, urban planning, community safety, clean air initiatives, and heritage preservation.

Lynne also represented Vancouver at provincial and regional levels as a Director of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), where she chaired the Regional Hospital District Committee and the Solid Waste Committee. As and Executive Member of the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM), she chaired the Justice & Protective Services Committee.

Active in the community, Lynne is a member of the Vancouver Police Board where she chairs the Governance Committee. She also serves on the Canadian Association of Police Boards as Vice President. She is President of the West End Seniors Network and sits on the steering committee of Vancouver's Drug Court and is on the Research Ethics Board at Simon Fraser University.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Lynne also holds a degree in Archaeology from the University of Calgary.
