Glenn Mitchell

Glenn Mitchell is Managing Editor of the Morning Star in Vernon, a position he has held since 1994. He began his jounalism career at the Hope Standard in 1985 and moved back to his hometown of Vernon to help launch the Morning Star in 1988. Mitchell moved up from reporter to sports editor and then was named editor of the Salmon Arm Observer in 1989, a position he enjoyed for two years.

He returned to the Morning Star as News Editor and was promoted to his current position in 1994. A graduate of Simon Fraser University (BA - English, Political Science), Mitchell also completed the Communications Media program at Cariboo College.
