Lee Ongman (Vice Chair)

Lee Ongman graduated from the University of Victoria and the University of B.C. with a B.Sc. and LL.B. respectively. She became a partner in a Prince George law firm and practiced law from 1978 to 2002 as a solicitor. Lee served as a panel member with the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal for three eyars and is a past president of the Prince George Bar Association.

She currently sits on the board of directors of the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. Other volunteer activities include acting as a member of the Board of Variance for the city of Prince George, as an active member of the Kiwanis Community Service Club, as a teachers' aide in the Highglen Elementary Montessori program, and as an assistant coach of a Prince George novice ringers' team. She joined the Press Council in 2003.
