Adrienne Tanner

Adrienne Tanner is the city editor at the Vancouver Sun.
She has been a journalist for 25 years.

Adrienne grew up in Alberta and began writing for the Sherwood Park News, a weekly paper in suburban Edmonton.

From there she moved to the Red Deer Advocate, a small-market daily covering courts and environmental issues. Then on to the Edmonton Journal where she covered city hall and provincial politics. 

In 1997 she moved to Vancouver as an investigative reporter with the Vancouver Province, specializing in immigration issues. She left the Province in 2005 to become assignment editor at the Sun and has been city editor for the last three years.
