Vivian Tran
Vivian Tran currently works as Knowledge Transfer Officer with the Canadian Labour Market and Skills Researcher Network (CLSRN) Economics at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she works to disseminate labour market research in areas such as unemployment, education and training, immigration, apprenticeship and labour market adjustment, through academic and non-academic channels.
Keenly interested in politics and international relations, Vivian obtained her Bachelors degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia, and her Masters degree in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Carleton University); and has previously worked as Media and Public Affairs Officer with the British Consulate-General in Vancouver.
Vivian believes strongly in what the BC Press Council does, and is very pleased to be working as part of it.
